What are the advantages of the Multipor ETICS?
The fully mineralized Multipor ETICS is part of building material class A and is not combustible. Even at high temperatures, toxic fumes, smoke or drains are excluded. It is not necessary to use a brand brake.
Surface moisture causes microbiological attack. With the Multipor ETICS, this moisture does not develop at all. The rapid re-drying, the high heat storage capacity and the water absorption capacity prevent mold and algae formation - without biocides.
Multipor is ecologically distinguished by natureplus, IBU declaration with the highest standard A + by the eco institute. Multipor Mineral Insulation Boards are solid and dimensionally stable and easy to process. Woodpecker damage is excluded and also rodents bite at the massive insulation material the teeth out.

What are the approvals for the Multipor ETICS?

How is a Multipor ETICS in a fire? Do the brackets have to be executed?
The Multipor Mineral Insulation Board corresponds to building material class A1 according to DIN EN 13501-1. The Multipor ETICS corresponds to building material class A2-s1 d0. Multipor does not burn, does not glow and does not smoke. It is not necessary to install a brand brake.
What are the requirements of the Multipor ETICS system?
The subsoil must be stable, level, dry and free of any residues that may be applied. Multipor Mineral Insulation Boards can be glued to concrete or masonry walls. Existing plasters must be load-bearing. Strongly absorbent or sanding substrates must be solidified with a suitable primer. For more information, see the damming book, page 94-95
How is Multipor ETICS glued?
The Multipor Mineral Insulation Board WAP is glued with Multipor Light Mortar. For this purpose, the Multipor light mortar is applied to the back of the plate with a suitable tooth trowel and is toothed. In the case of irregularities> 5 mm (up to 10 mm), the Multipor Mineral Insulation Boards WAP can also be applied with at least 70% adhesive surface area in the buttering-floating process or edge bead point method.
Bonding with other mortars is not permitted.
Must Multipor WDVS be dowelled?
According to the General Building Inspection Approval Z.33.43-596, Multipor mineral insulation panels must be dowelled with Multipor screw anchors when used in the ETIC. The exact number of required screw anchors per m² is determined by means of wind load calculation (at least 4.3 anchors / m²). Impact plugs must not be used.

What colors can be applied to the Multipor WDVS?
The following color paints can be applied to the Multipor WDVS:
- Mineral colors
- Diffusion-free silicate paints
The light reference value must be ≥ 30 as in the case of the top plasters. For a good surface finish, we recommend the Multipor Silicate Facade Paint.
How can heavy loads be mounted on the Multipor ETICS?
Heavy loads, as well as all mobile and dynamic loads, must be fixed in the supporting substructure. For this purpose we recommend, for example, the thermally separated heavy load dowel Thermax from Fischer.

How can loads such as mailboxes or lamps be mounted on the Multipor ETICS?
The Multipor pressure distribution plate is suitable for this purpose. It is suitable for objects which exert pressure on the façade after assembly.
Lamps, motion detectors and other devices weighing up to 5 kg can also be attached with the Multipor telescopic device carrier. The assembly is carried out on the supporting surface before the insulation works. The integrated cable management allows a comfortable and secure connection to the electrical cable. • How is a window connected to the Multipor WDVS?
Connections of Multipor Mineral Insulation Boards to window frames can be executed with a suitable window connection profile. Window connection profiles can be found in our current price list. How are the outer corners of the Multipor ETICS?
Outside corners can be formed with fabric corner angles. These are to be machined with Multipor reinforcing fabric before applying the surface reinforcement.

What is to be observed with expansion joints?
Expansion joints from the load bearing subfloor are to be transferred into the insulation layer. The resulting expansion joints must be sealed with a suitable expansion joint profile with sealing tape. Suitable design examples can be found here

Can rounding occur with a Multipor ETICS?
The Multipor Mineral Insulation Board can be cut and ground easily and precisely without force. Adaptation to existing building geometries (eg rounding) is possible without any problems. For this purpose, the Multipor Mineral Insulation Board can be cut into smaller segments, for example, and can thus be adapted to the radii of the existing ground plan.
How is a socket with Multipor pedestal insulators implemented?
A formation of a sock insulation is possible with Multipor sock insulation panels. For this purpose, the saddle insulation panels must be encased on all sides with the Multipor sealing slurry and glue them over the entire surface on the substrate. After fixing with Multipor screw dowels (1 dowel per plate), the reinforcement is made with Multipor sealing sludge and reinforcing fabric and the design of the top plaster with Multipor light mortar.

Can the Multipor ETICS be laid in two layers?
According to the general building authority approval Z.33.43-596 Multipor Mineral Insulation Boards WAP from 120 mm thickness can be installed in two layers. In this case, the thinner or thicker insulation panel must always be attached directly to the wall. Fixing with Multipor screw dowels only takes place through the first layer of insulation.
